OUTLaw-Announce is for announcements about upcoming events, important information for the OUTLaw community, and other e-mails from the OUTLaw Board. The list is low-traffic as only OUTLaw Board members may send information out to the list. Your privacy is assured as list subscribers cannot see who is subscribed to the list. Because only OUTLaw Board members may send information over the list, if you have something you would like to advertise or share, please e-mail it to krupen2010@lawnet.ucla.edu or uclaoutlaw@gmail.com.


2. OUTLaw-Open

OUTLaw-Open is an open community forum for everybody subscribed. Anybody can post to it, and we encourage people to do so. Feel free to write anything from “I’m going out tonight; who wants to join?” to “I need an Outline for Criminal Procedure; Who has one to share?” Our only request is that everyone be respectful, mature, and appropriate when using the list. This list will have higher traffic as more people can post to it; however, you are able to condense all e-mails into a daily “Digest” which will significantly reduce the amount of messages in your inbox. Again, your privacy is protected as list members cannot see who is subscribed to the list. However, if you send an e-mail out to the list, it will appear to be from you, so that will in effect publicize that you are on the list.
